Current iOS app: home, schedule, Campus AI and courses.
My role
- I joined an established product with a cross-platform team and became the third largest contributor to the iOS repository.
- I build iOS features on top of the shared KMP module together with the Android developers, with the Android app as the behaviour reference.
Approach
- The shared module is built by Gradle as a static framework and pulled in through CocoaPods; moko-kswift turns Kotlin sealed classes into Swift enums.
- UIKit with SnapKit for most screens, SwiftUI where it is simpler, and Compose Multiplatform for the Campus AI screens, embedded in UIKit.
- Firebase Remote Config for A/B tests, with analytics events checked on both platforms.
